First Response Boat Purchased – The “Reel Responder”

Captain Bill operating the “REEL RESPONDER,” with the Disney Fantasy in the background. Captain Bill & Melanie Willis located their first response boat for service in Port Canaveral, FL, to respond to the cruise and cargo ships that request urgent assistance with critical medical emergencies.

The “Reel Responder” is a 1999 Donzi 35ZF fast boat powered by twin 300 horsepower Yamaha engines, thrusting the boat to over 50 mph. This boat is 35 feet long and nearly 10 feet wide, and has plenty of AFT deck space for their patients.
